About

Hi Folks, this is Nathan Moya and I’m a bibliophile, logophile, and most importantly: a certified ghostwriter.

I’m comfortable ghosting and editing mainstream and literary fiction, especially novels with idiosyncratic characters and voices. My non-fiction interests include narrative, history, social and cultural issues, politics, art, travelogues, sports, and just about anything intellectually stimulating. I’m trained in music theory, electronic music, and sound design/synthesis, so if you want to write a music book, let me now.

I’ve written award-winning research proposals, quantitative and qualitative reports for non-profits, and curriculum for electronic music programs. My reviews on world-class microbrews have received wondrous attention from beer experts.

I began writing professionally when my passion for philosophy sent me searching for writing opportunities outside academia. I was soon hired as a contributing writer for a magazine, where I wrote articles on David Hume, Martin Heidegger, gourmet food, and even Frank Zappa. Recognized for their clarity and attention to SEO optimization, my articles earned Editor’s Choice awards.

My formal education includes a B.A in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz with summa cum laude and highest honors, a fiction workshop with published author/poet Marcy Alancraig, and private ghostwriting training with industry expert, Claudia Suzanne, where I earned my certificate. And possibly more important, I read, read, read, and read some more, which is just about the best way to learn the craft of writing.

I hope to hear from you.

Ciao
